Cycling with R

It was a beautiful day in the city, as I looked around I saw the beautiful architecture, the luscious trees and the endless sky. Everything had a metallic sheen that reflected the sunlight with a strange vibrant quality.
I looked ahead and I saw him, R,  smiling and waiving at me. He had his hands on a bicycle, and to my surprise I was holding one too. We were going to ride through the city together, just the thought of it made me smile. Riding through a beautiful city with the wind on my face.

Often a bicycle appears in dream when you are trying to balance a number of situations an you are striving to get to a destination that you are trying to achieve your future objectives regarding love affairs. To fall off a bike indicates that you have misplaced situations.
This dream is suggestive of a rather functional attitude towards self-motivation, you probably need to look at balance in your emotions and feelings when encountering a people.
Positive changes are afoot if…

  • The dream is enjoyable and did not involve an accident.
  • You were going on a relaxing bike ride.

My great grandmother always used to wear a small, Spanish style comb in her hair.

Last night I dream that I too, wore such a comb. I wear my hair short, but in my dream it was long and silver, and I comb through finally setting the comb on my right side.

To dream that you are combing, stroking or styling your hair suggests that you are taking on and evaluating a new idea, concept, outlook, or way of thinking. You may be putting your thoughts in order and getting your facts straight. A more literal interpretation suggests your concerns about your self-image and appearance.

To dream that you have long hair indicates that you are thinking long and carefully before making some decision. You are concentrating on some plan or situation.

Dreaming that you have gray or white hair indicates that something important has just been made aware to you. It is a symbol of knowledge, wisdom and insight.

Blind eyes

As many times before, I am in my grandmother’s kitchen in Spain. I have no eyes, but yet I can see. I look around and my grandmother has my eye in a ziplock sandwich bag. She insists that we should wash them with dish soap before putting them back in, I want to wash then with distilled water.

I walk to the bathroom and look in the mirror, I can see the inside of my skull. It was so weird I woke up with a start.

It’s an unusual dark night. I don’t ever remember one so dark in my waking time. I feel the pavement under my feet, but I cannot see anything, except myself.
I have just killed someone, a total stranger I believe. Or if he wasn’t a stranger then I didn’t remember at the time and I don’t remember now who it was. It ws a man though, that I know.

To dream of committing murder represents your motivation to make absolutely sure you never think a certain way ever again. Making sure change occurs no matter the costs, how ugly a situation gets, or how dangerous it feels. Putting an end to a habit, thinking pattern, or situation for good. An intentional ending to a relationship. Showing the courage to stand up to something difficult. Bravely overcoming a powerful fear. Getting revenge on someone, feeling hatred, resisting problems that you feel are unacceptable. Guilty feelings or awareness of yourself having destroyed something or ruined someone’s life.

A Blue Dream

I was in a building on fire, I couldn’t  see the fire just the smoke. The building was familiar, I had been there on another dream. A dream long ago, about someone else.

Then I was in a room in the darkness, sitting at the back of the room on a window seat with him next to me. There were other people there, was it a work meeting? He came closer, and closer, and closer . . . until I could feel the side of his body pressing on mine. I look up and he was smiling, then he kissed me. A kissed so brief, but yet . . . a kiss.

We separated immediately, electric shock came to mind, and then Oh shit! came out of my mouth involuntarily. I run out the door and a girl followed me, but I was faster. Then, then I was floating, literally, five feet above the ground.

He came out into the  . . . where are we? It looks like a park at night. He came and hold me close to him and the he said Look, I’m holding you only like this . . .

And then I woke up.

I had a second dream.

I was getting ready to leave work but I wasn’t at work, at least it didn’t look like it. It looked more like a dark basement.

I was putting on a sweater or a jacket . . no, a camisole. He saw me from a corridor and came in smiling and we talked about how he is not into Christmas.

Then, again I woke up.

Dream interpretation:

Psychological Dream Meaning: Fire destroys but it also cleanses and purifies. It can illuminate but also cause pain. Its energy is a potent symbol of eternal life or eternal damnation. Fire is a powerful yet ambivalent dream symbol.

In dreams, it can signal a new beginning, spiritual illumination, sexual passion or disruptive emotions such as the flames of passion or envy. For example, to dream of a house burning down or a forest fire warns that you are consumed by passions. Consider whether your emotions are getting out of control and whether you need to calm the flames.

Psychological Dream Meaning: Smoke is caused when a fire is stifled. Ask yourself what part of your self needs to come to expression. Let your true self shine.

Psychological Dream Meaning: This could be a straightforward sexual dream. However, a kiss is also a symbol of love and affection so may represent those things you hold dear. Perhaps there are other connotations: the kiss of life, the kiss of death or the kiss of betrayal. The dream highlights the feelings that you have a ‘closeness’ with at the moment

Psychological Dream Meaning: In order to float we have to relax and accept the support of the water. In psychological terms, this means that you have accepted the feminine side of your psyche and are carried forward by it. Floating implies acceptance, you have let go of your problems, worries and restrictions and can now enjoy just being yourself. Go with the flow.

Psychological Dream Meaning: The night can represent the unconscious side of the personality. The process of becoming requires us sometimes to enter the darkness before emerging into light.

Psychological Dream Meaning: A basement indicates your subconscious or something that is below your conscious awareness. It is buried below a level which you can see.
